Dr. Ileana Martino

Dr. Martino received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1997, earning the OKU award for excellence. With over 25 years experience, she is now proud to introduce Crafting Smiles Dentistry in the heart of Richmond Hill.

Dr. Martino’s practice philosophy is centered on providing quality family dental care in a comfortable, friendly and caring environment, with a focus on prevention and maintaining oral health. Her goal is helping patients feel and look their best.

In addition, Dr. Martino is committed to advancing professional development through continuing education and teaching. She finds her contribution as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry very rewarding.

When she is not in the office or teaching, Dr. Martino enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and puppy Olive. She also enjoys gardening, photography, and discovering new places near and far.

  • Welcome to our office. You will find me at the front desk with a warm greeting when you arrive.

    I recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. I have many years of customer service experience. I am happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve your concerns and make your visits positive.

    Interacting with patients is what I love the most. Over the years, I realized that being a "good listener" is the key to effective communication. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Andreia

  • I'm passionate about the practice of empowering clients when it comes to maintaining excellent oral and general health. Since 2003, I have been working in this field in Brazil and, when I moved to Canada, I made the decision to continue my mission. I'm delighted to welcome you to our clinic and go over your options in terms of receiving the greatest holistic therapy.

    I'm a dental hygienist registered with CDHO and associated with CDHA, ODHA, and RDHU which keeps me abreast of new developments in science and technology. I take part in conferences and further my education whenever I can. Studies linking gum inflammation to conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and Alzheimer's disease have my utmost interest.

    I enjoy talking and listening to my clients. I've worked with people who struggle with anxiety, have special needs, and have certain disabilities (visual and auditory). My strategy consists of a treatment plan and an empathetic explanation of everything I'm going to accomplish. In this manner, the patient can reduce their stress, comprehend the value of their treatment, and fully commit to their care.

    I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, daughter, and our newest family addition, Molshi the puppy. Typically, we enjoy camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities in the wild environment.

Gabriella

  • I attended Georgian College where I obtained my advanced diploma in dental hygiene graduating with academic honours. My dedication to patient care and my commitment to the Crafting Smiles Dentistry team drive me to continually expand my knowledge and skills through ongoing education.

    My passion for dentistry started at a young age. I enjoy the environment, have a strong desire to connect with people, and am dedicated to helping others. I prioritize a patient's needs and always want to provide an inviting environment and care tailored to each individual.

    Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling to explore new places and experiences.

  • With  30 years of experience in dentistry, Poloma brings both skill and sincerity to her role at Crafting Smiles Dentistry. She believes every smile tells a story and her goal is to make each patient’s experience one of comfort, care, and confidence.

    Poloma’s calm presence and genuine compassion help patients feel at ease from the moment they walk in. Whether assisting chairside or guiding patients through their treatment plans, she’s known for her thoughtful communication and her dedication to making dentistry feel personal, not clinical.

    For Poloma, dentistry isn’t just a career—it’s a calling to serve, to build trust, and to help others feel good about their smile again.

Caroleen

  • Hello! You will find me helping the team part-time to greet and assist our patients at the reception desk. I enjoy meeting and helping our patients and will aim to make the visit a wonderful one.

    My long-term goal is to build a future profession working with children in education. I am currently a student at York University taking French Studies and Education.

    My interests are soccer, skating, spending time outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
